What happens next

Four steps. No surprises.

Most pilots move from apply to .ma file open in Kimiyaa in under three weeks. Maya keeps running the entire time.

If we're not the right fit for your studio, you'll know by step 2 — and we'll tell you who is.

  1. Reply from a human Within 48 hours

A real person on the team reads what you wrote and writes back from a real address — not a templated drip. Either "let's talk, here are some times" or "here's why we're not the right fit yet."

  2. Discovery call Week 1 · 45 minutes

Not a pitch. We ask about your pipeline, your custom scripts, the three toughest shows you've shipped. By the end you'll know whether Kimiyaa actually fits your workflow.

  3. Pilot scope Week 2–3

We define one real shot — or one artist's full week — as the pilot. You set the success criteria. Maya licences keep running in parallel.

  4. In production Day 1 of pilot

Install on a workstation, open a .ma file, keep working. Year 1 free starts here. If something breaks, we fix it that day.

Year 1 free ≤30% of Maya thereafter 0–2 days to switch Walk away anytime

While you wait

A few things that might be useful.

If you have a deadline pressing — Autodesk renewal coming up, a show kicking off, a budget review — say so in your first reply and we'll prioritise the call.

Forward this internally

If your studio head, pipeline TD, or VFX sup hasn't seen the comparison yet, the side-by-side against Maya and Blender is the fastest way to bring them up to speed.

One last thing. If a question comes up in the next 48 hours that a form can't answer — pricing edge cases, on-prem deployment, NDA constraints, anything — write to founder@kimiyaa.ai directly. I read these.
